Dr. Amy Cobos was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She received her Bachelor's degree from New York University. Dr. Cobos then ventured uptown to pursue her passion for dentistry and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University. After dental school, Dr. Cobos completed a General Practice Residency at Northwell Health in Long Island, where she was trained in conducting high-pressure emergency treatments.
Her passion for providing specialized care and preserving natural dentition led her to continue her studies in Endodontics. Dr. Cobos went on to complete her specialty training in Endodontics at New York University where she honed her skills in advanced endodontic techniques through intensive clinical rotations, including microsurgery and rotary instrumentation. Her research on Regenerative Endodontics was presented to the American Association of Endodontics.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Cobos loves to travel, explore all kinds of food scenes, and spend quality time with her fiancé and her kitten. Dr. Cobos is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontics.
Dr. Cobos is fluent in Spanish.
